We operate an intense A&R philosophy, seeking out up-and-coming talent from a variety of sources, from live performances to word-of-mouth, to discovering a MySpace page. Once we’re interested in an artist, we offer them a full development package, each one tailored to each artist as an individual. As musicians ourselves, we know how important it is to allow our artists to maintain full creative control. We work with the artist, rather than against them, whilst guiding and advising them to allow the full potential of their talent to develop.

Utopian Music also believe an artist should be allowed to focus on what they do best – making music, so we take care of everything else, from booking live performances, dealing with promoters, record labels, publishers and all the other things that are important in an artist’s rise to the top, but get in the way of that all important creative process.
